The NC SFI SIC meets on a quarterly basis. Typically, the first meeting of the year occurs in January and is a joint session with the NCFA’s Safety, Logging and Transportation Committee (SLTC) at a location large enough to accommodate the size of the group. Over the years, the group has met at the North Carolina Farm Bureau. Other meetings take place in the main conference room of the NCFA. The final meeting of the year, typically in November, is where the NC SFI SIC establishes its budget for the next fiscal year.
